Jay Cross, Account Executive

Jay Cross has been an Account Executive with Emerling Floss Murphy & Associates since June 2015.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Daemon College and specializes in Complex Commercial Insurance Programs, particularly for Automotive, Motorcycle, and RV Dealerships.

Jay enjoys helping his customers protect the legacy they worked so hard to build, and is a proud member of the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals.

Outside of work, Jay enjoys golfing and resides with his wife Suzanne, afour daughters, and a Great Dane in Orchard Park, NY.

  • #1 Account Executive in NYS for Zurich in 2011, based on premium sales exceeding one million dollars
  • Wrote largest Auto dealership for 4 consecutive years

Personal Highlights:

  • Had a 3 year Arena Football League career as a starting QB
  • "Girldad" to 4 daughters, and great dane dad to the only boy, Starke
  • Been married for 10 years this past August
  • Jim Kelly came to watch me play football back in high school
  • Caught, at the time, the largest White Marlin off the coast of Florida that weighed 104 lbs
  • Was ranked #1 QB in WNY, and #5 in the entire state in my senior year of high school
